“I’m a bit of a rebel,” James says. He loves Hank Jr. and Lynyrd Skynyrd and when it comes to fundamentals, he won’t even buy light bulbs. “I think they’re a waste of money,” he says.  And for James, who’s been blind all of his life, light bulbs probably don’t seem like a necessity.  For all his joy in being a little bit different, James shares the same vision we all have when it comes to work.

“With a job I feel normal. I don’t feel handicapped with a job and I’m not seen as handicapped with a job.”
