Goodwill Cathrine

“Some people may stay hidden, but I wanted Jason to be out in the world.  I pushed for him to be mainstreamed," says Jason’s mother, Linda.  Linda’s maternal instincts proved her right.  Jason was born with cerebral palsy and suffers from a heart murmur.  None of that slows this integral member of Goodwill’s A-Team.

Jason has worked at Goodwill’s processing plant in Nashville since 1996.  He’s easy to spot, too.  As the self-proclaimed, “Number one Titans fan at Goodwill,” he’s the one wearing a Tennessee Titans jersey, hat and other team apparel almost every day to work.  Just as with his beloved Titans, Jason is a relentless worker and devoted to his team.  “It’s a good job and it’s fun.  I’m happy when I’m here.”

You give more than you know when you give it to Goodwill. So we hope you don't mind if we ask you to give one more thing. Please take the time to give a word of encouragement to our clients and employees. It means a lot to them--and to us--knowing that there are others who share the spirit of Goodwill.
